Faery grew up in love with fashion and weddings; sneaking her mom ‘Cosmo’ and ‘Vogue’ magazine every month at age 6 and watching ‘Bride Wars’ and’ Corpse Bride over and over. One of her first memories she was in her parents wedding; watching her mom get ready and walk down the aisle had her dreaming about working in the wedding industry. For 9 years she worked all throughout the industry including coordinating, florals, catering, hair, and makeup. The first time she felt euphoric was at a bridal salon when she put a veil on a bride and could instantly tell it was “the dress”. While working in salons she always felt there was something missing, always heard complaints from brides. Also felt there was a lack of representation for not only people that looked like her, but many other minorities. The Bridal Faery launched to be here for anyone who is getting married no matter their color, size, sexual orientation, religion. culture or gender.
